Stressed about Christmas preparations? Don't be because we will be bringing you a top tip every day that will get your organised in time for the big day.
Logically it's just one roast dinner for your family and a few friends and you probably do something similar every week but the magic of Christmas gets to us all. It makes you want to provide THE perfect roast with ALL the trimmings. Everyone has a thing that has to be included within the day to make it qualify as Christmas whether this is food related for a tradition of going for a walk or board games in the evening.
For me the food that makes it Christmas is sausages wrapped with bacon- I know these could be made any day but you never do, do you. What is it for you that Christmas wouldn't be the same without? Christmas cake or Christmas pudding maybe?
What things do you buy or what do you put all the extra effort into so that it is homemade? I always made a Christmas pudding on Stir-up Sunday but I'm sure shop brought ones are just as good. I have tried making stuffing but I now know shop brought is better (in my opinion) but everyone is different.
We would advise planning is the key to taking the stress out, doing things in manageable chunks will then mean it is all ready by Christmas eve so that you should even be able to find a hour to relax with a glass of mulled wine.
